Warehouse-Supply Support-Transportation-ILS Services
Major maintenance programs include Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements. US-L personnel frequently performed the functions of those ILS elements including:
- Program Management Support providing
- Administrative oversight and monitoring of approved program processes
- Program Progress Reports, as required
- Corrective Action, as necessary
- Contract Support providing:
- Building Leases
- Sub contracts for utilities: electric, water, telephone, and internet
- Sub contracts for security
- Sub contracts for HAZMat disposal
- Sub contracts for transportation of tools, equipment, commodities, and components to and from operational sites
- Facilities Support providing
- Building maintenance
- Building systems: HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Intercom, Air Handling and Compressor, and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) maintenance
- Grounds maintenance
- Supply Support providing
- Forecasts for commodities and component requirements
- Analysis of commodities and component consumption rates
- Supplemental Purchasing of supplies through local purchase, as authorized
- Familiar with DoD supply software systems
- Warehouse Support providing
- Receiving, Unpacking, Stocking, Inventorying, and Issuing functions for tools, commodities, equipment, and components
- Packing, Labeling, residual material in preparation for shipment
- Packing, Labeling HAZMat material in preparation for disposal
- Collecting and disposal of scrap material
- Transportation Support providing
- Transportation of tools, equipment, and residual material to the next operational site or other designated destination
- Transportation of HAZMat material to an authorized disposal vendor or disposal site
U.S. Logistics has provided supply support for all the maintenance programs indicated and in addition has several Supply Support Contracts:
SAIC Subcontracts
U.S. Logistics, under subcontracts with SAIC beginning in January 2009 and ending on September 30, 2011, provides inventory management at various Navy Depots (NADEPS). US-L provides Supply Systems Analysis Support personnel to support SAIC supply operations for the US Navy IPV Generation II Contract at Cherry Point, NC and North Island, San Diego, CA and Inventory Management at Jacksonville FRC, Jacksonville, FL. These personnel also provide financial analysis data to the prime contractor (SAIC).
MMPV ILS Support
U.S. Logistics provided an ILS Manager to Blackwater USA under subcontract from July to August 2007 to provide Technical Publications, Provisioning, Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) Analysis, and other ILS functions during the Blackwater USA proposal effort for Medium Mine Protected Vehicle (MMPV) program for their Grizzly Model.
