US Marine Corps contract M67004-09-F-0581
Dated June 30, 2009 from Albany Georgia for anywhere from 16 to 360 maintenance personnel to repair and overhaul USMC vehicles at Barstow California. There are five (5) option periods; each one is of a 6 month duration which could run this effort out to March 2012.
MRAP Programs
U.S. Logistics has provided MRAP support beginning in April 2007 and continuing to present for various OEM programs including:
Afghanistan/Iraq SOCOM MRAP Driver Trainers/Maintainers
U.S. Logistics
provides training for US Army SOCOM members on operational and technical procedures of the RG31-RG33 and CAIMAN series MRAPs. Additionally, USL assists with maintaining, modification, and general support to SOCOM units with daily maintenance and upper echelon maintenance issues and procedures.
Field Service Representatives Support (FSR’s)
U.S. Logistics provides subject matter experts (SME) on all series of the
MRAP vehicles to US Army units/soldiers deployed in the IRAQI/AFGHANISTAN/KUWAIT theater of operations. These employees are the front line SME’s that provides support to units from Brigade down to Company level on the maintenance, modification procedures, part requisitioning, quick fixes, and general guidance in support of the MRAP program.
MRAP SOCOM and TACOM Program
U.S. Logistics provides tactical and
technical doctrinal training to SOCOM and active and reserve Army units, soldiers and commanders on operations, employment, and deployment techniques of the MRAP at Ft. Hood, Ft Carson, and Ft Campbell.
MRAP Maintenance Training
U.S. Logistics provides MRAP maintenance training at
Aberdeen and Yuma Proving Grounds in the areas of general and direct maintenance support for Field Service Representatives, (FSR) prior to deployment for OCONUS in support of the Department of Defense (DOD) units.
MRAP Maintenance
U.S. Logistics provides direct maintenance support during MRAP
Program test and evaluation, modification and development at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG) and during MRAP equipment integration, vehicle modifications, systems repair and preparation for shipment at Letterkenny Army Depot, Charleston, SC, and Goose Creek SC.
MRAP Production Support
U.S. Logistics provides Final Inspections taking care of
and troubleshooting problems as a result of the assembly program and provide additional training for FSR’s in support of the TACOM MRAP production line in Ohio, Michigan, and Charleston, SC.
BRADLEY FIGHTING VEHICLE (BFV) Maintenance Support Programs
U.S. Logistics provides BFV maintenance support in several programs starting in January 2007 and continuing to present:
Add On Armor (AOA)
U.S. Logistics conducts upgrades to the BFV side armor, and as
required, replace/repair the track and suspension in Iraq and at active and reserve units throughout the continental United States including Ft Hood, Ft Bliss, Idaho, Minnesota, Camp Shelby, Ft Stewart, Ft Bragg, Ft. Bliss, and Ft Irwin.
BUSK II
U.S. Logistics conducts upgrades to the BFV seats, restraints, ammo armor,
and cooling system in Iraq and at various CONUS installations including Ft Hood, Camp Shelby, Ft Stewart, and Ft Benning.
LEFT BEHIND EQUIPMENT (LBE)
U.S. Logistics conducts repairs and upgrades on the BFV Left Behind Equipment bringing the vehicles up to 10-20 standards at various CONUS installations including Ft Hood, Ft Bliss, Ft Carson and Ft Riley.
Bradley Training Program
U.S. Logistics provides tactical and technical doctrinal training to active and reserve Army units, soldiers and commanders on operations, employment, and deployment techniques of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) at active and reserve units throughout the continental United States.
RETROGRADE Program
U.S. Logistics conduct repairs/upgrades on BFV in Iraq
for equipment returning from the Iraq/Afghan/Kuwait area of operations.
LOGSA Support
U.S. Logistics provides SAMS-E parts persons in Germany with
LOGSA account and fork lift driver qualifications in support of the Bradley Modification program.
Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS)
U.S. Logistics provides repairs/upgrades on the MLRS system at Ft. Sill and Camden AK.
Paladin M109A6 155mm Self Propelled Howitzer
U.S. Logistics conducts repairs/upgrades on Paladin M109A6 in Kuwait for equipment returning from the Iraq/Afghan/Kuwait area of operations.
M113 Armored Personnel Carrier RESET
U.S. Logistics beginning 1 June 2008 to the present provides maintenance support for M113 vehicle RESET Operations back to 10/20 Standards at Ft. Hood for the entire M113 vehicles coming out of the Iraq/Afghan/Kuwait theater of operations.
MRAP Test Support to PVI
U.S. Logistics provided under subcontract to Protected Vehicles Inc (PVI) test and maintenance support at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) from April to June 2007 during qualification testing of GOLAN MRAP under USMC Contract M67854-07-D-5027.
FMTV National RESET Program
In a sub-contractual purchase order role to the OEM-TVSLP, U.S. Logistics provided a Quality Assurance Inspector to support the FMTV National RESET Program at the OEM facility in Sealy, Texas. During the period from March 2004 to May 2005, this inspector provided incoming technical inspections, interface and coordination with government DCMA personnel for incoming conditions, and support activity to TVSLP personnel in the FMTV RESET production line that RESET over 200 FMTV vehicles.
HEMTT Reconstitution
U.S. Logistics received a purchase order from TVSLP to provide over 130 personnel including supervisors, drivers, quality assurance inspectors, supply technicians, and mechanics to support four month contract with options to rework up to 600 HEMTT vehicles to 10/20 Standards in a U.S. Logistics leased facility at Killeen, Texas, in support of U.S. Army III Corps, Ft. Hood, Texas. U.S. Logistics held a job fair and recruited and fielded this work force in under a month. The contract was extended to accommodate government induced delays in providing Government Furnished Material (GFM) and in providing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). The Ft. Hood HEMTT Reconstitution program was completed during the period from August 2002 to June 2005.
FMTV Reconstitution
Through a purchase order from TVSLP, U.S. Logistics provided up to 300 personnel to support a base contract with 3-6 month options from July 2004 through July 2006, to rework up to 1600 FMTV vehicles to 10/20 Standards in a U.S. Logistics leased facility at Killeen, Texas. This effort supported U.S. Army III Corps, Ft. Hood, Texas. U.S. Logistics held a job fair and recruited and fielded this work force in under a month. In addition to the work force at Killeen, Texas, U.S. Logistics has provided two supply support personnel at the TVSLP facilities located at Sealy, Texas, in support of this contract.
FMTV Up-Armor Support in Iraq
U.S. Logistics has furnished six mechanic personnel to support the OEM-TVSLP maintenance support for FMTV vehicles in Iraq. This effort provides Periodic Maintenance Checks/Services (PMCS) for FMTV vehicles in conjunction with the FMTV Up-Armor effort in that theater under separate contract. The effort includes work weeks of 84 hours for each position during the base period and continuing options beginning in August 2004.
HMMWV Up-Armor Support in Kuwait
U.S. Logistics provided a maintenance team of 14 mechanics to support the HMMWV Up-Armor Program in Kuwait. This program was completed ahead of schedule and received commendation from all involved. The task was initiated to supplement an on-going HMMWV Up-Armor Program by the OEM, AM General, to expedite that effort.
Corrosion Abatement Programs - FMTV
Corrosion Abatement Programs were conducted by U.S. Logistics personnel under a sub-contract to TVSLP for labor during the period between July 2000 and July 2002 on over 3600 FMTV vehicles. The programs were completed within budget and on, or ahead of, schedule. Those programs included Inspection and Repair Only As Necessary vehicle deterioration from corrosion conditions, and re-application of protective coatings for frame, body, and cab components.
House Appropriations Committee (HAC) Programs
House Armed Forces Committee Programs (HAC) were conducted by U.S. Logistics personnel from October 2000 through September 2004. This program upgraded over 10,000 FMTV vehicles deployed worldwide. The installation of over 100 part numbers per vehicle included over 400 components in several major assemblies or systems.
HAC Programs for All FMTV Vehicle Variants CONUS
Various phases of the HAC activities have been completed below budget and on, or ahead of, schedule. Those activities have occurred at a number of U.S. Army facilities or commercial facilities to support field requirements. The remainder of this project is currently on standby awaiting the return of troops and vehicles from the Middle East.
HAC Programs for All FMTV Vehicle Variants OCONUS
In addition to completing HAC activities at CONUS, U.S. Logistics has also performed HAC activities at a number of OCONUS sites.
HAC Programs for FMTV Dump Vehicle Variants
U.S. Logistics provided shop supervisors, inspectors, mechanics, admin specialists, drivers, and supply support specialists in support of the FMTV Dump Vehicle retrofit, (M1090-M1094). This program was completed under budget and ahead of schedule.
Maintenance Work Order Application on FMTV Tractor Variant M1088
In a separate sub-contract role to TVSLP, U.S. Logistics is currently providing the replacement of the tractor platform on 2417 tractors, installation of frame stiffening kits on 1509 tractors, and inspection and replacement of frames, if necessary, for 78 tractors. The MWO includes over 1480 components of over 100 part numbers. The MWO application has been completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
